The Alliance of Alien Artists is proud to bring their celebration of musical theatre around the globe to The Green Room 42! This spring, Broadway Around the World takes the audience on a musical expedition. Featuring favorite show tunes throughout the years, performed in the singers' native languages, Broadway Around the World is a celebration of uniqueness and diversity with a common love: music.
The concert will perform Sunday, March 24 at 7pm and will feature international Broadway performers Joomin Hwang (The Prom) and Q Lim (The King and I), both from South Korea, and more international performers from around the world: Maya Avisar (Israel), Jessica Rookeward (Australia), Gara Roda (Spain), Catie Shelley (Canada), Pedro Coppeti (Brazil), Felipe Joglar (Chile), and Sidhant Seth (India).
With musical direction and arrangements by Israeli composer Assaf Gleizner (The Office Musical Parody, Friends the Musical Parody), the concert will feature show tunes from the most recognized Broadway musicals, translated by the performers to their first language. Staging the show is Israeli performer Oz Shoshan (Elf National Tour).
The Alliance of Alien Artists is an organization founded to empower and support international performers in the pursuit of their career in the United States.
