Moved to action by the troubles facing Haiti's orphaned and injured children after January's devastating earthquake, BB KING BLUES CLUB and THE PATH FUND have joined forces and will be donating 100% of the proceeds of this special benefit concert to UNICEF and Save the Children, organizations working in Haiti to provide safe havens for the thousands of children left homeless by the earthquake.

ROCKERS ON BROADWAY--ROCKS TO REBUILD will take place on MONDAY, MARCH 1, 2010 at the famous B.B. King BLUES CLUB & GRILL and will feature performances by a lineup of Broadway stars including Tony Winner Christian Hoff, Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages), Tony winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) and Tony nominee J. Robert Spencer (Next to Normal).

Rock stars performing include GRAMMY award- winning singer/songwriter Larry Gatlin, singer/songwriter Kate Taylor and ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME inductee (The Rascals) Gene Cornish & THE GUITAR CLUB FOR MEN.

VINNY PASTORE, star of THE SOPRANOS, will be a special guest.

Also appearing will be some very special young performers--past Path Fund scholarship recipients from Broadway Dreams Foundation and the Bendheim Junior Troupe.

And featuring from Broadway: Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls), Ben Cameron (Wicked), Ta'Rea Campbell (Lion King), John Arthur Greene (West Side Story), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening), Sean Jenness (The Civil War), Adam Kantor (Rent), Donnie Kehr (Billy Elliot), Lauren Kennedy(Spamalot), Michelle Kinney (Drift), Michael Lanning (The Civil War), Gerry McIntyre (Once On This Island), Sarah Schmidt (Jersey Boys), Jeremy Schonfeld (Drift), Matt Stocke (Rock Of Ages) and Clarke Thorell (Hairspray)

Rockers on Broadway, now in its 17th year, was founded in 1993 by Donnie Kehr while appearing in the Broadway run of The Who's Tommy. The show was inspired by Who guitarist Pete Townshend, who wanted the play's performers to experience the feeling of singing with a rock band in a concert style venue, and to transfer the rawness of that edge to the stage. Rockers on Broadway brings rock stars and Broadway stars together to raise money for good causes.

The PATH Fund, Inc. (Performing Artists That Help) was founded as a result of the success of Rockers on Broadway and aims to give artists of all kinds an avenue to share their unique talents while helping raise money for charities that benefit the arts and entertainment communities that inspire their livelihood. PATH is an official 501c3 and in recent years has donated over $100,000 to various charities including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Wingspan Arts, the Bendheim Center/Scholarship Fund and the Broadway Dreams Foundation.
