Audra Isadora to Bring Grace Jones Tribute to 54 Below, 2/3

Audra Isadora: The Songs of Grace Jones will play 54 Below on February 3, 2015 at 9:30 pm. Doors open at 8:45 pm. There is a $25-35 cover charge, with premiums at $60, and a $25 food and beverage minimum.

With a low, sultry voice, standout cheekbones, and a strong, stylish sensual acuity, Audra Isadora brings back the vibe and soul of '70′s and 80′s Grace Jones in Grace.Period. With her roots in theater and jazz, Audra, along with music director Mark Fifer, re-interperets Grace Jones classics into gutsy, melody driven 11-o'clock cabaret numbers.

The songstress grew up playing oboe and cello, and wrote melodies that her mother would then arrange on piano. After meeting Tony-award winning actress, Victoria Clark, whilst studying Musical Theatre, Clark instantly pegged Audra as a songwriter describing her as "timeless and mysterious" affirmingAudra's desire to pursue her love of songwriting and performing.
