The official description of THE NOT SO LATE SHOW with special guest Anthony Rapp is as follows: "Marti Gould Cummings Welcomes Anthony Rapp To The Not-So-Late Show on Saturday, March 7th at a special time, 11:30pm. Each weekend at New World Stages in New York, Marti Gould Cummings sits down with nightlife glitterati, Tony Award Winning stage actors and fabulous celebrity guests for THE NOT-SO-LATE SHOW, his non-televised television talk how. "I have always wanted to be the gay Oprah," admits Cummings, a downtown artist whose shtick is drag, but not the typical diva glam as seen in clubs and on TV. His leans more towards androgyny; he sports beautiful dresses and heels while still looking very much like a man. "So when New World presented the opportunity to me, I put together a mix of Jimmy Fallon meets Carol Burnett meets Wendy Williams for a show all my own." This Saturday, March 7th at 11:30pm, Marti Gould Cummings welcomes stage and film star Anthony Rapp to The Not-So-Late Show. Audience tickets are free. "Anthony is one of the best actors working in theatre today and we are delighted to have him on our show," continues Marti Cummings from his home in New York. Anthony Rapp is a Broadway veteran. His breakout came when he originated the role of Mark Cohen in Jonathan Larson's production of the Broadway musical Rent. He can be heard on the original cast recording. Rapp has also appeared as a supporting actor in a number of films, including Adventures in Babysitting, Dazed and Confused, and Six Degrees of Separation. He is currently starring in Broadway's If/Then. This will be Anthony Rapp's first appearance on THE NOT-SO-LATE SHOW, a stage show that has become popular for its candid discussions and Cummings' trademark charisma. "I am a great host because I say what I feel and try to relate and connect with the people in the room," he explains. Previous guests have been Perez Hilton, Orange Is The New Black star Annie Golden, Tony nominees Charles Busch and Rory O'Malley, and Cheyenne Jackson."
