Following her sold-out engagement last spring, Anna Bergman returns to the stage of 'the nightclub of New York,' Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue @ 61st  Street) for the opening of its 10th Anniversary season.  On September 14th, 15th and 21st (8:30PM) Anna will present her new show, My Heart Stood Still: The Love Songs of Richard Rodgers with special guest, Broadway veteran, Brent Barrett.

In My Heart Stood Still: The Love Songs of Richard Rodgers, Anna turns her attention to the glorious melodies of the incomparable theatrical legend, Richard Rodgers. In the romantic songs that Rodgers wrote with such masterful lyricists as Lorenz Hart, Oscar Hammerstein, Martin Charnin and Stephen Sondheim, Anna searches for the heart that beats inside all of us….as we long for, revel in and sometimes lose, at love. It's a match made in musical heaven and one that cabaret lovers will not want to miss.

Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, the evening will feature special guest, Broadway leading man Brent Barrett ("Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular", "Chicago: The Musical", "Kiss Me Kate"- Olivier Award nomination), who was also her guest artist in her 2007 public television special "You & the Night & the Music: A Salon with Anna Bergman".  Paul Greenwood will serve as musical director and arranger.

Anna Bergman has been hailed by The Washington Post as "a songstress who has triumphed in everything from Broadway-flavored tunes to opera arias and the sultry innuendoes of the cabaret chanteuse".  Career highlights: Lincoln Center's American Songbook (with Barbara Cook); concert version of The Light in the Piazza (as Margaret) with Adam Guettel, Seattle's Intiman Theatre; the Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration in A Little Night Music; as soloist in Carnegie Hall's centennial tribute to Ira Gershwin, at the White House and with the Pasadena Pops Orchestra. Other concert appearances: London's Cafe Royal; London's Lost Musicals with Kitty Carlisle Hart; Waltz Of My Heart: The Music Of Ivor Novello (BBC-TV), International Festival, Cardiff Wales; Mr. Gershwin Goes To Washington (as Diana Devereaux), Music Festival of the Hamptons; Chicago Humanities Festival; Manaus Opera House, Brazil; New York Festival of Song; Lyrics & Lyricists.
