Composer Andrew Byrne brings his unique brand of musical parody to The Zipper Factory Theater on Sunday, October 5, 2008 with the premiere of EXPOSED: THE SONGS OF AN Andrew Byrne. Tagged as "Forbidden Broadway for trashy sluts," EXPOSED has music and lyrics by Mr. Byrne, additional lyrics by Mark Blankenship and Lisa Rothauser, and is directed by Amy Rogers. The cast features Lisa Anzelmo, Jodie Bentley, George Brescia, Kelly Briscoe, Michael Di Liberto, The Glamazons, Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line), Shanna Lesniak, Jen Mintzer, Ariela Morgenstern (Adding Machine), Ryan Murray (Lone Star Love), Jenny Neale, Ricky Oliver, Chuck Ragsdale and Lisa Rothauser (The Producers).

Combining the irreverence of Forbidden Broadway with the daring of Kiki and Herb, EXPOSED: THE SONGS OF AN Andrew Byrne takes on everything from Sarah Palin to bathroom mishaps. Andrew and his special guests will leave you humming, cheering, and blushing . . . in sixteen bars or less.

In addition to composing, Andrew Byrne is also a voice teacher, vocal coach and music director for the Broadway community. His New York piano/conducting credits include Les Miserables, A Class Act on Broadway and Triumph of Love and john and jen at Lincoln Center. Regional credits include Ragtime (North Shore Music Theatre), The Full Monty (Weston Playhouse) and Medea/Macbeth/Cinderella (Yale Repertory Theatre). His work has been heard by millions of people as the vocal arranger for the Glamazons on NBC's "America's Got Talent."

EXPOSED: THE SONGS OF AN Andrew Byrne will be performed on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at 8:00 PM at The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Tickets are $15 and are available in advance online at www.thezipperfactory.com or via telephone at 212-352-3101
