Adrienne Haan has most recently been cited as "one of the best cabaret performers in New York City today" by Wolf Entertainment Guide, "an entertainer of the highest caliber" by Cabaret Scenes and "quite original with a large vocal range, electrifying personality and enormous dramatic talent" by the New York Concert Review.
On Dec 7 and 10 at 7 pm, she is presenting her new show White Christmas at the Triad, celebrating the life and music of the great American composer Irving Berlin and the 100th Centennial of his major hit God Bless America that he wrote during WWI, 100 years ago. Irving Berlin would have turned 130 years old this year.
A citizen of Germany and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Adrienne is proud to say that there is a very strong connection between Irving Berlin and Luxembourg which she is making a point of in her show. For the first time, she is performing the script of someone else: the talented and very knowledgeable Ms. Laurence Pierron of the Consulate General of Luxembourg, who has close ties to the Berlin family.
Peter Martin is producing White Christmas at the Triad, honoring this great composer. You will hear familiar tunes such as White Christmas, There's no Business like Show Business, Blue Skies, Cheek to Cheek, Alexander's Ragtime Band, as well as lesser known oeuvres such as Give me your Tired your Poor, Lichtenburg, Marie from sunny Italy and many more. Haan is covering a music time span from 1907 until 1954!
Her Music Director and arranger of 15 years, Mr. Richard Danley, also arranger of this show, will be on piano. Don't miss out on these two event. You can get tickets for both nights here.
