UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) has announced complete casting for Unsung Carolyn Leigh, a special concert produced for Lincoln Center's American Songbook at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse on Saturday, April 5 at 8 PM. The evening, showcasing songs by the Tony- and Grammy-nominated lyricist of Peter Pan, Little Me and How Now Dow Jones, is created and directed by Ben West (The Fig Leaves Are Falling, At Home Abroad, Make Mine Manhattan).

Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years), Jeremy Kushnier (Jersey Boys, Next to Normal), Alli Mauzey (Wicked, Cry-Baby) and Teal Wicks (Wicked, Jekyll & Hyde) complete the cast, which includes previously announced performers Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act), Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me if You Can), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys, On a Clear Day), Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde, Nobody Loves You), Drama Desk nominee Jenny Powers (Donnybrook!, Happiness) and Max von Essen (Evita). Kushnier and Wicks appear as guest performers on two items from Leigh's trunk.

Unsung Carolyn Leigh features musical direction and arrangements by Fran Minarik (At Home Abroad, Gatsby).

Celebrating her enduring legacy of smart, sophisticated and often sexy songwriting, Unsung Carolyn Leigh highlights the legendary lyricist's little-known works, featuring several jazz-infused items from her acclaimed 1969 Gatsby score, a cut song from How Now Dow Jones, and two numbers written with Marvin Hamlisch for the original, unproduced version of Smile. Ten dynamic performers, a sizzling trio of musicians and over twenty melodic gems color the intimate evening, which also includes rare audio clips from two of Ms. Leigh's original demo recordings.

Tickets, priced $30-$50, are available at americansongbook.org or by calling 212-721-6500. The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse is located at 165 West 65th Street. Unsung Carolyn Leigh is produced by UnsungMusicalsCo. for Lincoln Center's American Songbook. For more information, visit: www.UnsungMusicals.org.

(UMC) is a New York-based not-for-profit production company dedicated to the preservation of musical theatre through the revitalization and presentation of obscure but artistically sound works. Founded in 2009, recent UMC projects include critically acclaimed, newly conceived productions of Make Mine Manhattan and The Fig Leaves Are Falling; a starry concert production of At Home Abroad with Bruce Vilanch, Julie Halston, Christine Pedi, Noah Racey, Liz Larsen and KT Sullivan; world premiere concerts of Gatsby, Caesar's Wife and Nothing is Forever; and the critically acclaimed New York Int'l Fringe Festival production of How Now, Dow Jones. UMC also recently launched its unsung concert series with Unsung Jimmy Van Heusen hosted by Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat, and has held developmental readings of seven unpublished works. Devoted also to researching, assembling and ultimately preserving rare musical material for future generations, UMC is receiving its own collection in the Billy Rose Theatre Division of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
