Now, for the first time ever, NBC and People will team up for The People Awards. This exciting two-hour special will honor the top cultural events of the year, celebrate the most influential and talked-about people in pop culture and Hollywood, and bring a light to all those who have "broken through the clutter" to make their voices heard throughout 2014.

Covering the top entertainment newsmakers from film, television, music, sports and the social landscape, the two-hour inaugural show will hand out awards for the Biggest Phenomenon of 2014, Most Stylish Person, Funniest Person and Sexiest Woman - with the show's top honor going to the year's Most Popular Person. Viewers from across the country will also get the chance to participate in a fan-voted award! Featuring a slew of star-studded surprises as well as performances from some of today's hottest artists, this one-of-a-kind awards show will no doubt become one of the most talked-about events of the year.
