Joining Investigation Discovery as host of the series is Charisma Carpenter, best known for her role as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel. The 10-episode first season of SURVIVING EVIL began filming in August 2012 and is slated to premiere in 2013.
