truTV and presenting sponsor Crunchy Nut(TM) cereal are challenging fans of the hit series IMPRACTICAL JOKERS to prove why they should be selected to win a once in a lifetime guest role as the 5th Joker. Now through Dec. 2, fans of the series can go to http://www.trutv.com/5thjoker to view a special message from the stars of Impractical Jokers and submit a one-minute video showing why they should be crowned the 5th Joker.

A panel of truTV judges will select the top 10 submissions and provide fans the opportunity to vote for the individual they think is worthy of this honor. Fan voting will help the stars of Impractical Jokers decide who has what it takes to be the 5th Joker. One grand prize winner will receive a trip to New York City to perform a challenge with the four stars of the show and appear in a web-exclusive video to launch on Feb. 14, immediately following the show's season' finale.

truTV's wildly popular hidden-camera comedy Impractical Jokers is set to launch its second season on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), with a whole new set of crazy dares from lifelong pals Brian "Q" Quinn, James "Murr" Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano.

Since they were kids these friends from Staten Island, NY have challenged one another to do the most ridiculous public dares imaginable. Now, to find out who's best under pressure, they'll compete in unbelievably awkward and outrageous hidden-camera hijinks. Then, at the end of each episode, the loser must attempt the most mortifying challenge ever. Impractical Jokers comes to truTV from NorthSouth Productions.

A previous sponsor for the show, the Crunchy Nut will extend branded support for the series through custom on-air elements throughout the new season to reach adult cereal lovers who enjoy moments of pure enjoyment - whether through comedy television or great, nutty taste.
