Global studio Entertainment One (eOne) today announced another round of international sales on the crime-solving procedural Private Eyes starring Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz, 90201) and Cindy Sampson (Rookie Blue) including ion TELEVISION (U.S.), Universal Channel (Australia), FOX Networks Group (Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Balkans), SBS (Belgium), COMOTE TV (Greece), and FTV PRIMA (Czech Republic) making it available in more than 110 territories worldwide.

Private Eyes was picked up for an additional 18 episodes following a blockbuster freshman season when it ranked as Canada's highest rated new series for Spring/Summer 2016, premiering on Global Television to 1.4m viewers in L+7 ratings. Private Eyes proved a hit for audiences in Italy (Fox Crime) where the first season outperformed the respective channels' prime time average share for total viewers and among target audiences. In Belgium the season 1 premiere outperformed Vijf's previous 12 month prime time average share for total viewers and in the commercial target shoppers 18-54.

As previously announced, Private Eyes was also licensed to Universal Channel (UK), Turner's TNT Nordic, TF1 (France), FOX (Portugal/Spain) and SKY (New Zealand).

Combining drama, humor and romance, the procedural series follows ex-pro athlete Matt Shade (Priestley) who irrevocably changes his life when he decides to team up with fierce P.I. Angie Everett (Sampson) to form an unlikely investigative powerhouse.

Shade sees working with Angie as an opportunity to redeem himself from his checkered past. As a professional athlete, he learned how to hustle, read people and anticipate their moves. Working with Angie, Shade discovers a fantastic rush of adrenaline, and realizes that he's found a new home where his skills still matter. Meanwhile, Angie took over her father's agency after his death and strives to keep his legacy alive. Each case is an opportunity for her to test her smarts, strength and strategic thinking. Angie may find Shade naïve in the way that he sees the world, but his passion and heart bring something special to her one-woman business.
