beIN SPORTS has announced the multi-year acquisition of broadcasting rights for Conference USA. Programming from this prestigious collegiate athletic conference will kick off this Fall with a full offering of events including football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball, all available on beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS CONNECT, the network's streaming service.
"Our commitment to expand beIN SPORTS' domestic programming is demonstrated with the addition of Conference USA, bringing U.S. viewers elite NCAA Division I sports to enjoy on their TV screens and mobile devices," said Yousef Al-Obaidly, Deputy CEO of beIN Media Group. "This strategic partnership will provide our fans with a diverse selection of collegiate sports for the first time ever on our network, including fan favorites such as football, basketball and baseball."
beIN SPORTS' coverage of Conference USA will feature ten (10) of the top football games with key rivalries in-conference as well as non-conference matchups. The network will also air ten (10) men's and ten (10) women's basketball games. Conference USA football and basketball teams have made numerous successful postseason appearances, which adds to the thrill for their students, alumni, supporters and all loyal college sports viewers.
As part of the long term deal, the programming lineup will include twelve (12) games of Conference USA's strong baseball schedule as well as twelve (12) women's softball events, ten (10) men's and ten (10) women's soccer matches, and ten (10) women's volleyball games.
