Zoe Lister-Jones' comedy has received a put pilot commitment from ABC, according to Variety.
The pilot, titled "Woman Up," follows two former teen moms who have worked their asses off to see their daughters all the way through high school graduation. And now, at 37, they're ready to make up for the youth they never had.
Lister-Jones is best known for acting, but will write and executive produce under her Ms. Lister Films banner. Liz Meriwether and Jason Winer and Jon Radler will also executive produce with 20th Century FOX Television producing.
This will be the first project Lister-Jones has written if it moves forward. She has written films such as "Band Aid," "Consumed," "Lola Versus," and "Breaking Upwards." Currently, she stars in CBS' "Life in Pieces."
