APS Films has announced the World Premiere of Zack Wilcox's Hunting Lands at the 2018 Cinequest Film & VR Festival. Set and shot in the woods of a Michigan winter, the film follows a group of exciting young actors on a COLLISION COURSE with each other and destiny. Hunting Lands will premiere at Cinequest at the Century 20 Redwood City March 3rd.
Marshall Cook (Football III: Division's Finest), Joe Raffa (You'll Know My Name) and Keyna Reynolds (Moving Parts) headline the cast as three residents of a mountain town over a life-changing 72 hours. Zack Wilcox directed from a script he wrote, alongside cinematographer and executive producer Edwin Stevens.
Reclusive veteran Frank Olsen yearns to escape from the complexities of the modern world. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the world comes looking for him. When he discovers a discarded, beaten woman fighting for her life in the snow, Frank must decide whether to continue to turn his back on society or confront the world he loathes.
