Oprah Winfrey announced not one but two winners of her primetime series "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search For The Next TV Star," last night on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. In a surprise twist, both finalists, Zach Anner and Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco were awarded their own shows on OWN.
Zach Anner, an internet favorite when he auditioned for the show last summer, will soon host "Rollin' Around The World," a travel show aimed at people who enjoy adventure. His funny and unique take on travel will focus on unusual places around the country and provide tips on how to cope when things go wrong when travelling. According to Zach, "the adventure is in the attitude."
Zach, who has cerebral palsy, became a fan favorite with his audition tape calling himself the "the sexiest palsy," even drawing the attention of John Mayer, who promised to write his show's theme song.
Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco, born and raised in Croatia, has gone from food stamps to her own television series. At one point a single mother without a job, Kristina turned her passion for cooking into a series. She will host "Fearless Kitchen," a cooking show for people who are afraid of the kitchen.
Both shows received a six-episode commitment from OWN, and will go into production in the next few months. The two new series will be produced by Mark Burnett Productions.
