YouTube Orders Pilot for Comedy HIGH & TIGHT Starring Sung Kang and Danny Pudi

YouTube Red has ordered a pilot for HIGH & TIGHT, a new comedy starring Sung Kang (Power, Fast Five, Better Luck Tomorrow)and Danny Pudi (Community, Powerless). HIGH & TIGHT is a baseball buddy comedy about a young translator forced far BEYOND his comfort zone when he's hired as the full-time interpreter-slash-babysitter for LA's newly-signed and ill-behaved star Korean outfielder.

Set in the high STAKES and high status world of major league baseball, Ho Rang's (Kang) irreverent partying lifestyle throws Joe Barnes' (Pudi) staid academic life into complete upheaval. Also starring is Virginia Williams (Fuller House) who plays the first female general manager in baseball history.

Rounding out the cast are the team's owner played by Bruce McGill (Family Guy) and his wife, Mircea Monroe (Episodes). Guest stars include pop sensation ChristinaMilian, Stephnie Weir (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Megan Park (Undateable), Marc Evan Jackson (Brooklyn 99) and Bobby Lee (Splitting Up Together).

HIGH & TIGHT is created and written by Chris Marrs (Arrested Development, Those Who Can't), who will also executive produce along with Kang, Alex Tse (Superfly), Tracey Baird and Krysia Plonka through Thank You, Brain! Productions (Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television*), and Greg Walter and Josh Lieberman through 3ArtsEntertainment. Todd Biermann is set to direct, and Pudi will serve as a producer.
