Yandel & Noel Torres to Headline 5th Annual BILLBOARD EN CONCIERTO

Billboard, the Telemundo Station Group and Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN) today announced the dates, artists and venues for the highly-anticipated, seven-city Billboard Latin music concert series, Billboard En Concierto, presented by State Farm in association with Pepsi, Net 10 Wireless and Telcel America, and produced by CMN in partnership with the Telemundo Station Group for the fifth year in a row.

This invite-only concert series, which leads up to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, will feature live performances by two of today's most iconic Latin acts, Yandel and Noel Torres. Torres is slated to kick off this year's edition of Billboard En Concierto with four shows beginning on April 3 in Houston at Escapade followed by Dallas on April 4 at Far West, San Francisco on April 5 at The Regency Ballroom and Los Angeles on April 6 at The Mayan. Yandel will finish out the series with shows in New York on April 10 at Stage 48, Chicago on April 11 at Concord Music Hall and culminating April 12 in Miami at LIV Nightclub. This year's concert series features two highly acclaimed Latin artists who are both nominated for Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Yandel's first solo album, "De Lider a Leyenda," debuted at number one on the Top Latin Albums chart last fall. He is best known for collaborating with musical partner Wisin. Over the past decade, the iconic duo has risen to international fame. Yandel's singles "Hable de Ti" and "Hasta Abajo" have both become number one on Hispanic radio in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He is nominated in several categories, including "Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo" and "Latin Rhythm Album Artist of the Year, Solo."

Noel Torres is one the most recognized singers in the norteño-banda genre of music. Torres launched his third album "La Estructura" in 2013 with a combination of romantic songs and traditional corridos. He was nominated in the category of "Regional Mexican Songs Artist of the Year, Solo."

The Billboard En Concierto series leads up to the prestigious Billboard Latin Music Awards, presented by State Farm, airing live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 PM ET from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. The Billboard Latin Music Awards honor the most popular artists, albums and songs in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay and social media activity that influences Billboard's weekly charts. The awards are the culmination of the Billboard Latin Music Conference, presented by State Farm, the largest gathering of Latin music professionals in the world.
