Six hopeful finalists were eliminated last night during Telemundo's "La Voz Kids" Semifinal. In the season's most intense episode, the Coaches chose the six final voices that will compete during the Grand Finale next Sunday, June 8, at 8pm/7c. Final voting closes tonight at 10pm/9c for the audience to select the second season's winner, who will be awarded a recording contract and a cash prize to support her education.
During the Semifinal, hosts Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal welcomed #TeamRoyce, #TeamTapia and #TeamNatalia for unique performances of each Coach's mega hits - "Las Cosas Pequeñas," "El Guardián de tu Vida" and "Me Muero," respectively - singing with their own finalists' team. The evening also featured the exclusive premiere of Coach Natalia Jiménez new single, "Creo en Mí," a powerful and inspirational ballad that is now available on iTunes. The results of the Semifinals are as follows: #TeamNatalia said a bittersweet good-bye to Aimee Miranda and Patricia Rosario. Coach Natalia saved Leslie Mendoza, from Bensenville, Illinois, who sang "Fallaste Corazón" and the audience vote saved Yanelis Rivera, from Lares, Puerto Rico, who performed "Hoy ya me Voy." #TeamTapia sent Jackelyn Barrera and Gilmarie Villanueva home, while Coach Tapia saved Abril Cisneros, from Las Vegas, Nevada, who performed "Amor de mis Amores."
