Will Sasso Cast in 3 STOOGES Film; Hank Azaria and James Marsden Complete the Trio?

According to Deadline.com, Will Sasso has been cast as Curly in the upcoming Farrelly brothers film based on the world-famous slapstick TV series "The Three Stooges." Although casting is expected to officially be completed by the end of the week, Hank Azaria is a main contender to play Moe; James Marsden is being considered to play Larry.

Will Sasso is currently staring on the ABC show based on the bestselling book, "$#*! My Dad Says". He was a longtime cast member of "MADtv" for a total of five seasons in addition to other appearances, and his film credits  include "A Mighty Wind" and "Year of the Carnivore."

In 2003, Hank Azaria appeared in London's West End as Bernard in Sexual Perversity in Chicago, along with Matthew Perry and Minnie Driver, but theatre audiences might best know him best as the original Sir Lancelot in SPAMALOT. The show was met with critical acclaim, receiving fourteen Tony Award nominations, including a "Best Actor in a Musical" nomination for Azaria.

James Marsden played dance show host Corny Collins in the Hairspray film. He starred alongside John Travolta as Edna Turnblad, Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle, Brittany Snow as Velma Von Tussle, Amanda Bynes as Penny Pingleton, Zac Efron as Link Larkin, Elijah Kelley as Seaweed and newcomer Nicole Blonksy as Tracy Turnblad, who helps to integrate a Baltimore dance show-and wins the heart of Link in the process. Marsden has played Cyclops the in the X-Men films. Other film credits include Enchanted, Superman Returns, Heights, The Notebook, The 24th Day, Zoolander, Sugar & Spice and Gossip. TV credits include "Ally McBeal," "Party of Five," and "Blossom."
