Variety writes that Will Ferrell will star in an untitled comedy film from Mosaic and Sony that centers on "the intense, competitive world inside a Shakespearean theater company."

David Guion and Michael Handelman have signed on as scribes. The pair have written past hits The Internship, The Watch, Blades of Glory and Men in Black III, as well as the upcoming Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
Ferrell's stage show You're Welcome America earned a Tony nomination in 2009. His upcoming big screen projects include Get Hard, Zeroville, Daddy's Home and Zoolander 2. He recently appeared in The Spoils of Babylon, The Lego Movie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The Internship and more.
