Whitney Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster yesterday that the Associated Press will be the sole news source to be allowed to film the funeral service of the late singer this Saturday, February 18th and stream it live on their web site. The event will also be available to broadcasters via satellite.
Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills Hotel room last weekend at the age of 48. Close friends and family members will gather in a private ceremony on Saturday at the singer's childhood church, the New Hope Baptist Church of Newark, New Jersey. It was here that the she first sang as a child.
Family members also announced that Houston is to be buried next to her father, John Russell Houston, Jr. who passed away in 2003.
