As first reported on Radaronline, Bobbi Kristina, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, has reached a verbal agreement with an undisclosed cable network to star in her own reality TV show.
According to the report, the deal is causing controversy among the members of Houston's family. “This show is being done against her family’s advice,” said a source close to the family. The source went on to reveal that Bobbi Kristina has been dealing with her own ongoing struggle with drugs and alcohol.
Whitney Houston died on February 11 in her Beverly Hills hotel room at the age of 48. The singer had cocaine in her system at the time of her death.
Speculation of a reality show featuring Bobbi Kristina began last year. With the unexpected death of her mother, both Bobbi and the TV network are now eager to get a show on the air and capture viewers' "curiousity factor".
“Bobbi is scared the world will label her just like her mother,” said a source connected to the project. "She is obviously very wild and misguided.”
The show will reportedly feature Bobbi with some of the same “hangers on” who were with Houston in her final years. It will also depict her controversial relationship with Nick Gordon. Recent rumors have speculated that Bobbi and Gordon are secretly engaged. The couple has denied the story.
