Short Synopsis: The only family Lea has is her gay best friend and her angrily defensive teenage brother, and she's in danger of losing them both. Her brother never answers her calls or texts and seems to be falling in with the wrong crowd at school. She worries about the safety of her best friend after a string of homophobic attacks plague their neighborhood. On top of that, she's in love with him, but he's quickly falling in love with another man. This gripping tale speaks volumes as these three characters' stories come to a head on the dark streets of New York City. -Cinequest

Director's Statement: "Each character in the film is longing for a community to belong to while simultaneously grieving the loss of a community they once had. Everyone in the film stands on their own and then gradually connects to each other to form something bigger. These different characters trying to mold into one unconventional family is undeniably something audiences can relate to."
