About the Film

Harley loves Ilya. He gives her life purpose, sets her PASSION ablaze. So when he asks her to prove her love by slitting her wrists, she obliges with only mild hesitation, perhaps because of her other all-consuming love: heroin.

In HEAVEN KNOWS WHAT, by celebrated filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie (LENNY COOKE, DADDY LONGLEGS), Arielle Holmes is Harley in her searing film debut, based on her real-life story of l'amour fou, heroin addiction, and scraping by on the streets of New York City.

Co-starring Caleb Landry-Jones (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, BYZANTIUM) as Ilya, street legend Buddy Duress, and gore rap phenom Necro.

After making waves at TIFF 2014, Venice 2014, and NYFF 2014 the film is poised to screen at SXSW 2015 and will be released theatrically by Radius Spring 2015 (Date TBD).
