Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) has signed a multi-year collaboration agreement with Spanish creative and Production Company Reset TV, it was announced today by Ronald Goes, Executive Vice President and Head of Warner Bros. International Television Production.

Reset TV is the brainchild of founders Toni Cruz and Josep Maria Mainat, both formerly of Gestmusic-Endemol. They are the creators of popular entertainment formats such as Cronicas Marcianas (Martian Chronicles), Esos Locos Bajitos (Crazy Little People) and Operación Triunfo.

WBITVP will distribute all formats created by Reset TV to the Western European, Australia, Canada and English speaking American markets. The focus will be on primetime, "shiny floor" entertainment shows which are Reset TV's area of expertise, including shows from the back catalogue, created by Cruz and Mainat.

Ronald Goes (WBITVP) comments: "Reset TV has produced a variety of original and entertaining formats which we are looking forward to pitching to international producers. Toni and Josep are legends in the TV business with an unrivalled track record in delivering primetime entertainment hits. We're excited about all the new ideas they have on the horizon, which have great potential to travel internationally."

Toni Cruz and Josep M. Mainat(Reset TV) added: "When we decided to launch our new creative company, Reset TV, our main goal was to see our formats travel worldwide. Being in the international market with a partner like WBITVP is an honour and we'll put all our creative effort into it and we're sure that the cooperation between both companies will lead to the next TV blockbusters being delivered to the market."

Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) aims to establish or acquire production companies in the major television territories around the world in order to become a leading producer of local scripted and non-scripted programming.

In those territories where WBITVP establishes a production base, it operates by developing and producing original programming and also producing local versions of formats owned and controlled by the group such as "The Bachelor," "The World's Strictest Parents" and "Who Do You Think You Are?" Where WBITVP has no local production capability it licenses Warner Bros. formats to third parties.

WBITVP has already taken significant steps by acquiring a majority stake in UK production group Shed Media, one of the UK's largest and most successful independent production companies, which operates both in the UK and the US. It also has acquired a majority stake in BlazHoffski Holding B.V., a leading independent television producer in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Reset TV is a new Spanish creative Production Company founded by two veterans of the Spanish TV industry (Toni Cruz and Josep Mainat). Prior to Reset TV, Toni and Josep founded Production Company Gestmusic. Subsequently the company was sold to Endemol, which then became Endemol's Spanish local Production Company headed by Toni Cruz.

During the Endemol years, Gestmusic created and produced successful prime time formats in Spain in the shiny floor, talent show, music and comedy genres. Some of their original formats successfully travelled onto the international market titles include "Operación Triunfo," "Mira quién baila," "La Parodia Nacional" and "Crónicas Marcianas."

Their strong new creative slate includes "Letris," "Let's Dance" and "One Minute of Glory."
