Beibei Fan has been hired as Vice President, Television Distribution, China, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, where she will relocate the company's office from Shanghai to Beijing. The announcement was made today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
In her new role, Fan's duties will include oversight of Warner-branded video-on-demand services – both advertiser-supported and subscription-based – in China. In addition, Fan will supervise the distribution of Warner Bros. Entertainment programming – including current theatrical motion pictures, television series and animation titles, as well as previously released films and shows from the Studio's vast library – to free and pay TV operators on all platforms (terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV) throughout China.
Fan will to report to Jim Brehm, Senior Vice President, Sales, Canada, Latin America and Asia, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
"Beibei is a smart and strategic sales executive and we are glad to have her back at our company," said Schlesinger. "We will look to her to help us grow our business in China as we join our sister divisions in Beijing."
Fan returns to Warner Bros. after two years as Director, Television Distribution, Disney Media Distribution. She was previously Director, Television Distribution for Warner Bros. International Television.
