Warner Bros. is heading back to Bedrock.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is currently developing a new animated feature 'FLINTSTONES' film, with Chris Henchy penning the script. Will Ferrella nd Adam McKay will executive produce.

Per THR: "The show was set in the Stone Age and told of the antics of Fred Flintstone, his wife Wilma, his best friend Barney Rubble and Rubble's wife and Wilma's best friend, Betty. From the town of Bedrock, Fred worked in a quarry, liked to barbecue brontosaurus burgers and live the modern stone age family life."

In 2012, FAMILY GUY creator Seth McFarlane attempted to remount the series for Fox, but the network eventually passed on the project.
