The truTV format IMPRACTICAL JOKERS continues to be a hit around the globe with Warner Bros. International Television Production announcing a number of new commissions, bringing the total number of territories producing the format to six.

· U.K. - BBC3 will launch a 6x30’ series later this year. Produced by Yalli (a Shed Media company)

· Brazil – SBT will air 13 episodes later this year.

· Greece – Antenna TV to launch 10 episodes early in 2013.

· Germany – pilot commissioned for 2013.

truTV’s hilarious breakout hit IMPRACTICAL JOKERS returned for its second season, and scored its biggest delivery of adults 18-49 ever during the week of 9/17/12.

The half-hour series is a simple and comical format featuring four friends who challenge one another to outrageous stunts that put them in unbelievably awkward social situations - all recorded by cameras. But in this show, winning doesn’t matter…it’s the loser who counts, as he or she gets punished in the most mortifying, but excruciatingly funny forfeit.

"IMPRACTICAL JOKERS has already been produced locally in The Netherlands and Belgium so these additional commissions along with the huge ratings success of season 2 in the U.S. prove just how successful the format is and how much audiences everywhere enjoy it. We’re confident that the format will continue to travel further around the globe” said Andrew Zein, SVP, Creative, Format Development and Sales WBITVP.

Warner Bros. International Television Production:
Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) aims to establish or acquire production companies in the major television territories around the world in order to become a leading producer of local scripted and non-scripted programming.

In those territories where WBITVP establishes a production base, it operates by developing and producing original programming and also producing local versions of formats owned and controlled by the group such as THE BACHELOR, THE WORLD'S STRICTEST PARENTS and WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?. Where WBITVP has no local production capability it licenses Warner Bros. formats to 3rd parties.

WBITVP has already taken significant steps by acquiring a majority stake in UK production group Shed Media, one of the UK’s largest and most successful independent production companies, which operates both in the UK and the US. Most recently it has acquired a majority stake in BlazHoffski Holding B.V., a leading independent television producer in The Netherlands and Belgium.
