fter making its NBC broadcast debut last month, World Series of Fighting returns to NBCSN this Saturday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET highlighted by the lightweight fight between knockout specialist Luis "Baboon" Palomino (22-9, 12 wins by knockout) and undefeated rising star Lewis Gonzalez (9-0).
The co-main event features Ronny Markes (14-3) facing Cully "The Mason" Butterfield (13-3) in the light heavyweight division. Saturday's card also features bouts between WSOF veteran Elvis "The King" Mutapcic (13-3) and the undefeated Kelvin "The Mama's Boy" Tiller (6-0) fighting at a catchweight of 195 lbs; Alexis "The Exorcist" Vila (14-4) vs. Brandon "Hot Rod" Hempleman (9-2) in the bantamweight division; and Bryson Hansen (7-1) vs. Matt "Robo" Sayles (2-0) in the bantamweight division.
Play-by-play announcer Mike Corey will be joined by mixed martial artists and analysts Bas Rutten andJoey Varner to call the action from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
