This week's NHL coverage begins tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when the Blues face off against Jonathan Quick and the Los Angeles Kings in St. Louis. NBCSN will also present COLLEGE HOCKEY action this Saturday night from South Bend, when the No. 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Three-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike 'Doc' Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning 'Inside-the-Glass' analyst Pierre McGuire will have the Wednesday Night Rivalry call from the United Center in Chicago, Ill.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY: BLUES-BLACKHAWKS - WEDNESDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
Wednesday night's showdown between the Blues and Blackhawks marks the first of five meetings between the two clubs this season. St. Louis has won three straight games including a 3-2 overtime win against the Wild at home on Saturday night, as Backes scored his first two goals of the season, including the game-winner. The Blackhawks lost back-to-back road games last week in Winnipeg and Minnesota, and return to Chicago where they've won five straight games and host the Kings tonight.
The Blues have faced the Blackhawks more than any other opponent in their history (296), and NBCSN is scheduled to present the 300th meeting between the two teams on Wednesday Night Rivalry later this season on March 9. Chicago holds the advantage in the all-time series with a 142-112-35-7 record (W-L-T-OTL).
KINGS-BLUES - TOMORROW NIGHT AT 8:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Blues host the Kings tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN prior to their Wednesday Night Rivalrymatchup in Chicago. Los Angeles enters the week as one of the hottest teams in the NHL, riding a seven-game winning streak into Chicago tonight against the Blackhawks. The Kings have been led offensively byTyler Toffoli, who is tied for the league lead with nine goals in just 10 games. Jonathan Quick has led the way in net for Los Angeles, allowing two goals or fewer in six of his last seven starts.
This marks the first of three meetings between St. Louis and Los Angeles this season, after the Kings won two of three against the Blues during the 2014-15 campaign.
COLLEGE HOCKEY - NO. 18 NOTRE DAME HOSTS MINNESOTA ON SATURDAY AT 6:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
NBCSN continues its 2015-16 COLLEGE HOCKEY coverage on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. ET when the No. 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Notre Dame is unbeaten in its last four games, including a pair of ties against Minnesota-Duluth, and a pair of victories against UConn. Minnesota bounced back from a 0-3 start with a pair of wins against Northeastern at home on Oct. 23 and 24.
