Vivica A. Fox Signs On for Season 2 of FOX's EMPIRE; Find Out What Role She Will Play!

EW reports exclusively that Vivica A. FOX will appear on the sophomore sesaon of FOX's hit drama series EMPIRE. The actress will portray the oldest sister of Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) who comes to EMPIRE in search of her younger sister.

While fans of the show have already been introduced to Cookie's sister Carol, portrayed by Tasha Smith, the show's executive producer Ilene Chaiken tells EW, "Cookie's other family members are troublesome to say the least."

Co-creator Lee Daniels has previously hinted that a spin-off showcasing Cookie's family when she was younger may be in the works.

Fox's character will first appear in episode 8 of the new season, premiering on Wednesday, September 23rd at 9 pm/ET.
