Video: Netflix Releases Trailer for ELLEN DEGENERES: FOR YOUR APPROVAL

Netflix has released the official trailer for Ellen Degeneres: For Your Approval, the first comedy special in 6 years. This marks Ellen’s second original comedy special with Netflix, after 2018’s Relatable. 

The final comedy special of her historic career, Ellen gets personal and reveals what she’s been doing since being “kicked out of show business.” From the mundane world of raising chickens and parallel parking to the harsh reality of becoming a brand name celebrity, she goes deep into her stand-up roots and brings the laughs through life’s most real and absurd realities.

Ellen previously said “To answer the questions everyone is asking me- Yes, I’m going to talk about it. Yes this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life.” The special premieres globally on September 24.

Ellen DeGeneres made a home for herself in daytime with her hit syndicated talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which ended in 2022 after an incredible nineteen seasons. As one of the longest running daytime television shows, it earned 64 Daytime Emmy® Awards, including 12 for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show, crowning it the record holder in this category. DeGeneres has also won 12 Teen Choice Awards, five Kids’ Choice Awards, and 24 People’s Choice Awards, making her the most decorated individual in the franchise’s 45-year history.
