Viacom International Media Networks - The Americas announces the launch of NickToons in Mexico on February 4th, 2013 -- a brand new action, adventure-packed channel featuring all of Nickelodeon's most beloved animations.
The new network targeting kids 6-14 years old offers a continuous marathon of iconic Nick characters spanning SpongeBob SquarePants, Kung Fu Panda and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among others. The launch of NickToons will expand Nickelodeon's reach to nearly 20 Million TV households in Mexico, offering advertisers an unprecedented platform to connect with families. The announcement was made by Sofia Ioannou, Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks - The Americas.
