Autoblog and Velocity announced today the world television premiere of new episodes of the award-winning original video series, TRANSLOGIC and THE LIST, beginning today, September 2 at 7 and 7:30 PM ET/PT, respectively, exclusively on Velocity.

"Audiences have a huge appetite for automotive content," said Robert Scanlon, General Manager of Velocity and Automotive Content. "In Velocity and AOL Autoblog we've got two great brands filling that need across multiple platforms, giving viewers high quality car programming wherever they are and whenever they want it."

"We're thrilled to premiere our latest broadcast episodes of TRANSLOGIC and THE LIST on Velocity," said Autoblog's Executive Producer Adam Morath. "Autoblog is committed to long-form video content and Velocity is the perfect partner to bring these premium series to new audiences, across new screens. TRANSLOGIC and THE LIST, will give audiences, both old and new, an entertaining and informative look into the ever-changing automotive industry."

Navigating the latest transportation technology, TRANSLOGIC is the longest running automotive video series on AOL. Taking a futuristic approach to the auto industry, the series explores where mass transit, concept cars, electric vehicles and new transportation will take us. With innovative insights and up-close access to automotive breakthroughs, TRANSLOGIC serves as an exciting intersection between technology and transportation.

The first episode, "High-End Plug-Ins", features performance hybrid and electric cars. TRANSLOGIC host Jonathon Buckley drives the Tesla Model S P85D, testing out the car's "insane mode" with unsuspecting crew members in the passenger seat. Viewers will also get to watch as Jonathon pilots his dream car, the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, as well as the 2015 BMW i8, running impromptu tests to see how fast each vehicle can propel from 0 to 60 miles per hour.

THE LIST: 1,001 Car Things To Do Before You Die, hosted by Jessi Combs and Patrick McIntyre, is a monthly video series bringing the ultimate auto enthusiast's bucket list to life. With over 40 episodes since 2011, THE LIST was the first video series in AOL history to broadcast on television, alongside TRANSLOGIC. The series has received various industry accolades, including a 2014 Webby Award and Telly Award.

In the premiere episode of THE LIST: 1,001 Car Things To Do Before You Die titled, "High Octane," hosts Jessi And Patrick get a once-in-a-lifetime open-wheel opportunity to pilot an F1 car after a day of instruction with the GP Experience at the Thermal Club in California. In the second part of the show, they'll head to Southern California's Irwindale Speedway to compete in a weekly "run what ya brung" event bringing with them some Mopar muscle: a Dodge Charger SRT and Dodge Challenger SRT8, both packing 470-horsepower 392 Hemi engines.

TRANSLOGIC and THE LIST will air back-to-back on Velocity Wednesdays at 7:00 and 7:30PM ET/PT. Clips, excerpts and segments will continue to be available on Autoblog.
