VIDEO: Zooey Deschanel Chats 'SIMPSONS' Guest-Voice Appearance

On the September 30 episode of FOX's THE SIMPSONS, the family takes a trip to New York City. NEW GIRL's Zooey Deschanel makes a guest-voice appearance on the episode and even sing's a love song to Bart. "Moonshine River" airs at 8/7c on FOX. Get a sneak peek below!

America’s favorite Midwestern family travels to New York City in search of Bart’s long-lost love, Mary Spuckler (Deschanel), who left Springfield and her backwoods family there to reinvent herself in The Big Apple. Meanwhile, Lisa and Marge hope to experience all the city has to offer. But when they realize their budget won’t allow for a Broadway play, they settle for the free “Shakespeare In the Park,” which doesn’t go as planned in the “Moonshine River” season premiere episode of THE SIMPSONS airing Sunday, Sept. 30 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
