Professional gaming, or "eSports", has taken the internet by storm in recent years. Top gamers make between $100,000 and $500,000 annually playing titles like League of Legends, StarCraft, and Call of Duty. Pro Gaming is no stranger for television. Internet-star-turned-TV-producer Freddie Wongrecently landed his hit show Video Game High School on Netflix. Gamer Sesh seeks to take the situation comedy genre one step further by adding the conflict of a female gamer trying to break into a male-dominated arena. Amidst the controversy of "GamerGate" and the current push in Hollywood for more female-driven content, a comedy starring a female gamer could provide a refreshing look at the battle of the sexes in the gaming world.Watch the trailer below!
