According to TVGuide.com, As Furious 7 took home the prizes for Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Movie at the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, Vin Diese who accepted the awards, paid tribute to his late co-star Paul Walker, who died in a car accident during the production of Furious 7.

"I always do this. I say, I'm not gonna get emotional about winning these awards," Diesel told the crowd. "I was cool while I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards: one for Favorite Action Movie and one for Favorite Film. You all thought that this was your favorite film. So I think of Dom and Brian and I start to think of Paul. ... When we didn't want to come back to filming when the tragedy was too heavy, it was the love of everyone combined that saw us through to the end, and now I'm standing here with all of you telling me this was your favorite film of the year."
Diesel closed his speech with an a cappella version of Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again."
Vin Diesel, is an American actor. He is best known for his portrayals of Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious film series and Richard B. Riddick in The Chronicles of Riddick trilogy. He also was a producer on sequels in both franchises.
Diesel has also starred in films such as xx (2002) and Find Me Guilty (2006). His voice acting work includes The Iron Giant (1999), the video game spin-offs from The Chronicles of Riddick franchise, and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014). He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in a short film titled Multi-Facial and the feature-length drama film Strays. He is the founder of the production companies One Race Films, Racetrack Records, and Tigon Studios.
