Below, The Hot Sardines debut the music video for "When I Get Low I Get High" featuring Broadway's Alan Cumming (CABARET). The group's sophomore album "French Fries & Champagne" is out now!

Evan "Bibs" Palazzo and lead singer "Miz Elizabeth" Bougerol along with a polished musical collective and tap dancer areThe Hot Sardines. The band's sophomore studio album, French Fries & Champagne, was released June 17 on Decca on the heels of critical acclaim and high-profile appearances. Following a one-of-a-kind live performance at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Show in Milan as well as a hometown gig at NYC's Central Park Summerstage, the band also was featured on NPR's Weekend Edition and influential New York radio station WFUV.

As a result, the album soared to #1 on both iTunes and Amazon Jazz Charts, and also debuted at #5 on Billboard's Jazz Traditional Chart (right behind Frank Sinatra & Allen Toussaint). Additional first week chart placements include #6 on Billboard's Jazz Current Chart and rounding out the Top 20 of the coveted Heatseekers Chart. The new album marks the band's second #1 debut on the iTunes Jazz Chart.

On French Fries & Champagne, The Hot Sardines effortlessly harken back to a time of New York speakeasies, Parisian cabarets and New Orleans jazz halls, with striking originals such as album title track "French Fries & Champagne", as well as covers-including a mischievous take on "When I Get Low, I Get High." The latter track features a guest appearance by the award-winning Alan Cumming who also appears in the music video for the song that was recently premiered by The New York Times T Magazine. Cumming also made a rousing surprise appearance at the band's Joe's Pub show in New York City on June 14. Produced by Eli Wolf (Elvis Costello, Norah Jones), the new album celebrates the duality of The Hot Sardines with the album title reflecting both their glamor and their grit.

The Hot Sardines have been out on the road showcasing their captivating live show in support of French Fries & Champagne. Their second run of dates kicked off with last weekend's Central Park Summerstageperformance in NYC and will continue on to Newport Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, World Cafe Live in Philadelphia and more.
