Below, check out the teaser trailer for "What I Became - The Story of Funeral: A Musical", a docu-web series that follows the story of two siblings during their first and only collaboration before a tragic accident changed everything. Click to watch!
The musical's co-creator Frankie Kane Kraft has appeared in the Hollywood Bowl production of Les Miserables in Concert, directed by Richard-Jay Alexander, and is a recent graduate (2010) of Circle in the Square Theatre School.
In sharing this trailer, Kraft wrote in an email to BroadwayWorld: "In January of 2012, I workshopped an original musical that I wrote with my 19-year-old sister in NYC. We documented the entire experience to hopefully create a documentary that would chronicle the story of young people seeking success the way they dream it. "Unfortunately in October 2012, my sister passed away tragically in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Since her death, I've picked myself off the floor and started piecing together the footage we created. I wanted to share with you the teaser for our docu-webseries that will be premiering this fall. We'd like to spread the word, and help keep my sister's legacy alive."For more about the project, visit: www.sammigirlproductions.com.
