VIDEO: THE COLOR PURPLE's Jennifer Hudson Talks 'Overwhelming Audience Response' on 'The View'

Jennifer Hudson, star of Broadway's THE COLOR PUPLE, stopped by ABC's THE VIEW yesterday to talk about making her Broadway debut in the hit musical. "It's such an overwhelming response," said Hudson of the audience's reaction to the show. "And I've never seen it in a show before like that."

The new Broadway revival of The Color Purple opened on December 10 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th Street).
