About the Episode: Oprah sits down with actress Melissa Gilbert, who starred in the iconic television series "Little House on the Prairie," for a revealing and intimate conversation where, for the first time, she talks publicly about her private family tragedy and how child stardom affected her. Plus, Melissa and her husband, Emmy award-winning actor Timothy Busfield, welcome cameras into their home in the small Michigan town where they live far from the Hollywood spotlight, and make a special recipe in their kitchen from Melissa's cookbook, "My Prairie Cookbook: Memories and Frontier Food from My Little House to Yours." Next, daytime television legend Deidre Hall gives a rare, behind-the-scenes set tour of "Days of Our Lives," and opens up about her special bond with the surrogate mother of her two sons. Then, first-ever "Star Search" Grand Champion and undeniable talent Sam Harris talks about why he contemplated taking his own life as a teen, how he faced alcoholism head-on, and the unexpected joys of fatherhood. Finally, actress Kathy Kinney wowed audiences each week as the irrepressible blue eye shadow-wearing character Mimi on "The Drew Carey Show." Find out what her life is like today; plus, more compelling "Oprah" show updates with couples whose romantic proposals were simply unforgettable.
