VIDEO: Sneak Peek - Third Season Premiere of CBS's ELEMENTARY

On the third season premiere of CBS's ELEMENTARY titled 'Enough Nemesis To Go Around,' Holmes returns to New York with a new apprentice and a renewed interest in working with the NYPD after being fired by London's MI6. However, Captain Gregson won't let him resume consulting for the department without permission from his former partner, Watson, the NYPD's new go-to private investigator.

ELEMENTARY stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases. Holmes and Watson have entered a symbiotic partnership, with Joan now serving as Sherlock's investigative partner instead of his sober companion. Sherlock is more grounded and thoughtful due to Watson's calming influence, while Joan's professional passions re-ignite as she gains confidence working alongside Sherlock in her newly chosen career. Just as the duo hit their professional stride, unexpected circumstances threaten to dismantle their relationship.

While consulting with the NYPD, under the direction of Captain Thomas Gregson, Detective Marcus Bell was shot in the line of duty, mainly due to Holmes' reckless behavior during an investigation. Sherlock faced uncharacteristic guilt and a series of unexpected personal challenges that culminated in Watson moving out of the brownstone and Holmes accepting a job offer in London from MI6, the British intelligence agency. Now, the biggest puzzle these detectives must solve is how to move forward separately in the wake of their professional partnership's demise.
