VIDEO: Sneak Peek - 'Resist' Episode of SUPERGIRL on The CW

On the next episode of SUPERGIRL titled "Resist", SUPERGIRL (Melissa Benoist) grapples with whether or not to obey the President's (guest star Lynda Carter) orders regarding Rhea's (guest star Teri Hatcher) latest actions. Meanwhile, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns to National City. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Jessica Queller and Derek Simon. The episode airs Monday, May 15th on The CW. Melissa Benoist leads the cast of SUPERGIRL as the title character alongside Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow "Winn" Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

SUPERGIRL is based on the DC character Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul Cat Grant. However, Kara's days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw, head of a super-secret agency, enlists her to help protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats.
