Broadway vet Patti LuPone (Evita, Gypsy) is appearing in the recurring role of 'Joan Ramsey' in the current season of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN. Below, get a sneak peek at the Tony winner in the upcoming episode titled "The Replacements".

In the episode, Fiona takes on an unlikely protégé. A guilt-ridden Zoe tries to give Kyle his old life back. Madison has a fiery exchange with Joan Ramsey, a new neighbor. Written by James Wong and directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, the episode airs Wednesday, October 26th at 10/9c on FX.

According to the show's executive producer Tim Minear, "Patti will be playing someone who will go up against [Jessica Lange's supreme witch] Fiona and her daughter Cordelia [Sarah Paulson]. [Her character] becomes a thorn in the women's sides when she and her sexy son move next door to Fiona's boarding school for young witches"

LuPone joins Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, and Gabourey Sidibe for the new season of the hit FX horror-themed anthology series.
