The Kennish and Vasquez families rally to support a loved one who is in critical condition. Amid the emotion, blame is placed, decisions must be made and lives are forever changed.

"The Image Disappears" was written by Terrence Coli & Linda Gase and directed by Wendey Stanzler.

"Switched at Birth," currently in its third season, is executive-produced by Lizzy Weiss ("Blue Crush"), Paul Stupin ("Make It or Break It"), and John Ziffren ("Melissa & Joey," "Make It or Break It").
