Seth MacFarlane stopped by the fourth hour of NBC's TODAY to talk about his new movie, "A Million Ways to Die in the West". The 'Family Guy' creator not only wrote the script and directed and produced the film, he also serves as the lead actor. However MacFarlane revealed to hosts Kathie Lee and Hoda that that was not his original plan.

"We did not get Steve Buscemi for Neil's [Patrick Harris] part," he joked. "So we had to settle for Neil. ... I went out to Paul Rudd, and he said 'no.' I'm like the poor man's Paul Rudd."
