On today's MEET THE PRESS, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham warned of a declaration of war with North Korea should they "overplay their hand," since, you know, he obviously has the power to do that. He also goes on to praise the Obama administration on handling the heated situation. Check out Graham's thoughts below!
Today's MEET THE PRESS WITH David Gregory featured a discussion with Senator Graham (R-SC), former ambassador and governor Bill Richardson (D-NM), former undersecretary of defense Michèle Flournoy, and NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell; and a roundtable conversation with Richardson, Mitchell, Republican strategist Mike Murphy, Politico's senior political writer Maggie Haberman; and CNBC's Jim Cramer.
Here's the excerpt from the clip below:
LINDSEY GRAHAM: The North Koreans need to understand if they attack an American interest or an ally of this country, they're going to pay a heavy price. ... But the big difference to me is the politics in South Korea are changing by the day regarding North Korea. So if there's some provocation, it won't be business as usual by South Korea. I could see a major war happening if the North Koreans overplay their hand this time, because the public in South Korea, the United States, and I think the whole region, is fed up with this guy.
