In one of the most inappropriate announcements in entertainment history, Tony-nominee and FROZEN star Santino Fontana has been cast in Showtime comedy pilot CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. Also part of the cast will be Broadway alum Donna Lynne Champlin. Series creator Rachel Bloom announces the principal cast in perhaps the most insecure way possible. Check out the video.

Between her videos "Nobody Will Watch the F*cking TONY AWARDS With Me" and "Sugar Ray: The Jukebox Musical" I have no doubt that this is going to be a hilarious show.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the show is from Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, Annie) and writer/actress/comedian Bloom (Robot Chicken). The project centers around Rebecca (Bloom), a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up everything - her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan - in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: West Covina, Calif.
