Patrick Stewart, Aaron Paul, Al Roker along with a group of top ad and media executives will be featured in a new documentary about social media site Twitter. The film will shown at an event taking place in Cannes, France later this year. Check out the trailer for the project below!
The film will illustrate how Twitter has global attention to the media world. "Essentially the message is that the creative process is becoming faster and more open," says Joel Lunefield, Twitter's VP of global brand strategy, told Mashable. "The culture has shifted to live."
Twitter will share clips of the documentary at a presentation to be held in Cannes Lions 2014 advertising festival. Filmmakers will shoot people's reactions to it and use them in a different version of the film, which is scheduled to run at 30 minutes.
Stewart is best known for his roles as Star Trek's Captain Picard, Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film series and his stage roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company. His Broadway credits include A Christmas Carol, The Tempest, Macbeth and 2013's No Man's Land and Waiting for Godot.
